Overview
The SMD-01B is a reflective optical incremental encoder head with 20µ period 2-Channel analog A/B outputs.
SMD-01B's low-noise high-precision analog output signals maximize accuracy for High bit ADC external interpolation for picometer resolution.
Excellent Lissajous curve with low cyclical errors increases repeatability for more significant interpolated bits.
A unique LED receptor provides wide tolerance to misalignment, YAW, external contamination and humidity.
Footprint is 5.4x4.3mm and package height 1.0mm with nominal 0.7mm gap to scale for overall height 1.5mm from PCB to scale.
